A Fuzzy Wuzzy TeddyBo

Hey Everyone!!

So did you all watch the Royal Wedding last night??  Wasn't it beautiful, I loved everything, very detail... it was wonderful!!

Anyway, today I have a little card I have been working on the past few nights... except for last night!! heheheh tooo busy glued to the tv!! My friend Kylie used a TeddyBo image the other week, and gosh - I've never seen these cutie pies before?? OMG where have I been??  Anyway I bagged a few for myself, and decided to colour up these tags first.

TeddyBo has a challenge - and this week its Tag's... So I think I got it covered, also The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge has a photo inspiration this month, so I thought I might play along there, too!! So here is my cutie pie TeddyBo taggy card, I hope you love it as much as me!!

Paper Play Time!!

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Play!!

So this week, I got to pick the theme!! hehehehhe How cool is that?? Anyway I challenge you to use something that you wouldn't normally use in card making.... for example things like Can's or Jar's or maybe Sea Shells or Fabric or Coins or Cork or Cardboard or - GOSH the list is endless really!! And also this week we are being sponsored by Waltzingmouse Stamps!!!

So for my card I decided to make a bit of a fantasy card, an under water dream for Mermaid Tilda...  So my things not intended for card making is the Sea Shell and some Tulle - which is meant to be like a fish net LOL....

So here is my Shaker Easel Card, I hope you love it as much as me!!

Here is a bit of a closer look at the main shaker part - I've popped some charms in the shaker, so the star is meant to represent a star fish of course and the Princess crown is because Mermaids are Queen's of the ocean - well to me anyway!! And well there has to be a message in a bottle too Huh?? heheheh  love these little bottles they are super cute dont' you think? Only thing is I can't remember where I got it from:-(

You can see the tag poking out the side as well, the photo is a bit funny because I was trying to get it all in!!

Here is a pic of the bottom part - I've pulled out the tag so you can see how I decorated it.  I've used Antique Linen ink to stamp the sea weed, and silver ink for the shells.  I've also popped on some Atyou Spica Clear and Glossy accents to make it pop!!

WhooHooo a little bit of crafty time for me!!

OMGOSH it feels like forever since I sat at my desk to put a card together... Renovating is such a drag and a pain and so many things go wrong... How will I go when its time to build the new house?? eeck..  But enough about that...

Tonight I have managed to whip up a card for a few challenges... I hope the challenges are still current, that I want to enter, it seems like I get around to making the card, and the challenge is over... bummer that!!

Anyway here is my card, its Tilda with an armful of Tulips... now I have used (more like tried) my Prisma Pencils for the flowers.... they took forever but I think they look reasonable for a learner Prisma colour pencil user!! So I hope you love it as much as me!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #93

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

I hope Mr Bunny hopped along to your house and left you some yummy little choc eggs.... or maybe he left you some rather large ones... either way I hope you all enjoy your day with your family and friends!!

So today at Magnolia Down Under Challenges, our leader, Kylie has drawn up a super fantastic Sketch for us to follow or - you know mix up a bit... whatever takes your fancy!!  I followed the sketch to a T because, well, I really, really think it is cool!!

So for my card, I have used Beautiful Tilda from the Butterfly Dreams Collection, I also used the small butterfly and sentiment on my Tag.... the butterfly in versa mark for a softer look!!  And My Seam binding finally came all the way from Wild Orchid Crafts.... I have been eyeing this stuff off for what seems like forever!! and yay now I finally have some:-) So here is my card, I hope you love it as much as me!!!

Here is a bit of a picture of the sparkles!!  I used my Atyou Spica Clear pen, that Kylie gave me ages ago - it's finally decided to work ... I was having some troubles.... anyway I love the effect - I just hope you can sort of see it!!

Hey Everyone

Well finally I have Ruby in her cot asleep, in her room, rather than the porta cot in the big lounge where all my crafty goodies are... the Plumbers have gone for the day - YAY - (1 new bathroom almost completed... just missing some floor coverings)

So here is my card that I started for last week's challenge at Whiff of Joy.... oh boy.... I was just a bit late with that one, so seen so I had only coloured my girlie I thought I would pop her in for this week's challenge!! 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon... Check, Check and Check!!

Sorry my picture is not so fantastic... but for some reason I just couldn't get the colours to show up like they are in real life... drat....

Paper Play Challenge Time!!

This week at Paper Play we have a realy cool photo inspiration for you to have a peep at and then make your creation with what has inspired you from the Pic!!  So much fun!! And not only that this week's sponsor is Kenny K Stamps!!  WHOOHOO these stamps are so cool, and I had heaps of fun colouring up my All That image!!  This is my first Kenny K image I've used:-) 

So for my card I was inspired by the colours and the shimmer!!  So I have used Black, a bit of Brown, Pink and some Shimmmer! The shimmer is Glimmer Mist, and I put that on my newspaper flower that I made so long ago for something else - but it just didn't fit right with that creation, so now it has found a home!  I've also used some Atyou Spica Pen's and coloured up the shoes and the button on the cap, I also used some black on her eye to give it a bit of a sparkle!!  So here she is I hope you like her as much as me!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #91

Hey Magnolia People!!

It's time for a brand new challenge at Magnolia Down Under, and this week we are challenging you to make your own patterned paper!!  So its time to break out those background stamps, shimmers and what not's and see what you can come up with!!

For my paper - I used very vanilla card stock from Stampin' Up because its lovely to stamp on, I then used my new Life Defined Background stamp from Whimsy and stamped in Antique Linen Distress Ink!! I then grabbed out the Perfect Pearls - blush and brushed that all over - so it has a pink shimmer to it - it looks really pretty in real life and its a bit hard to get a good picture of it!!  I then got out a stamp set from Stampin' Up and put the birdcage and bird on.  I wish I had used the softer pink for the bird in birdcage, but oh well - too late!! But I guess it looks ok!! I also got some Prismacolour Pencils while I was away last week in Melbourne, I'm having a little trouble tracking down some "Odorless Solvent" so I used some smelly Gum Turps instead hahaha, but the Art shop in Launceston has the proper solvent so I guess I'll have to wait till we next go up there so I can get some!!  Oh I used my pencils to colour the grass...

So anyway here is my card, I'm pretty happy with how my "paper" turned out.  Plus it was heaps of fun creating my own for a change!!  I hope you will have heaps of fun too making your own:-)
