Blueberries and Cream Marci is Baking up a Storm

Marci has been Baking... and mmmmm it's yummy Blueberry Pie, with of course lashings of Creamy Cream!!

For Inspirational Friday at La La Land Crafts this week, the theme is Blue and Cream!!  Well obviously Blueberries and cream came to my mind when I decided to use super cute Baking Marci - she is available HERE!!!

I decided to make a criss-cross pocket card, but I've covered the criss-cross over with my paper to make it more of a pocket!! My gorgeous paper is from The Girls Paperie. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I made the rolled rose. The little birdy is by Prima and the gorgeous Bling is from Delish... so here is Marci on my little recipe pocket card, I hope you love her as much as me!!!!

Here is the pull out recipe, I distressed the edges with Antique Linen and then stuck on some half pearls and went around the edge with some Stickles:-) the pull tag is Label 18 which I chopped in half and then decorated with a wooden button and some string!!

We would love to see your Blue and Cream creations in our Customer Gallery, so please don't forget to add them, you could be this months winner!!

Give me a Home amongst the Gum Tree's

Hi there everyone, It's time for another Paper Play Challenge, this week we are looking for cards with the theme of:

Being Thankful

For my card I have used Special Edition Koala Tilda (only available HERE) she is so super cute don't you think?  I tried to get my paper's a bit green and a little Australian looking.  So I've gone for some Basic Grey Curio, the back paper with the flowers on it, kind of reminds me a bit of Gum Tree's.... right where Tilda should be.... or how the song goes:

Give me a Home amongst the Gum Tree's with lots of Plum Tree's, a sheep or two a Kangaroo, a clothes line out the back and a Veranda out the front and an ole' rocking chair!!!!!

My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and Kaiser Craft.  There is also one which was a present from my buddy Debbie Dolphin for my Birthday.... The dies are Magnolia, except for the Sentiment one which the stamp and the frame and the Die are all from Tickled Pink Stamps. My Post Mark stamp is from Kaszazz!!

Crafts & Me Cheeky Fairy

Howdy!!! Today I have another Crafts and Me Digi image to share.  I coloured this one up the other day in like a rusty red colour... it was NOT nice, so anyway I chucked that one and started again, this time with RED copic markers, YAY finally have an R22 in the house... I have been missing this one, since my other one ran out, and well as you might be aware, the refills are no-where to be had... grrrrrrr so a new marker was needed.

Anyway I coloured the mushy using R22, R24, R27, and R29.  I tried to make it so that the white dots were lighter around the edges, almost like they were glowing, and the middle parts of the mushy a big darker... but anyway it's looks ok, but I think I need to try again at some stage:-)

Oh I forgot to tell you about the image - it's called GPepper Tree and it's created by Sara Burrier.  I just love how cheeky she looks eating her bits of mushy with her little pink tongue poking out!!!  So here she is, I hope you love her as much as me!!!!

I did some dotty grass around the base of the mushroom and the little ones, because I can't do whispy looking grass!!! and I used Once Upon a Spring Time Papers by Graphic 45, so perfect for fairy's, oh and the paper does have little post marks on it, so I carried that forward using the postmark stamp a bit around the image.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, there is a heap of Stickles which you can get HERE, and of course a few half pearls available HERE.......

Don't forget about the Crafts and Me Challenges which are up and running HERE, I'm looking forward to seeing your gorgeous creations:-)

Crafts and Me Challenge #61 Simples

Hi everyone, today is a new challenge day at Crafts and Me Challenges!! This is my first challenge card for my new Design Team... I'm having so much fun with these ladies - they are all so lovely and very talented!!

Anyway this week's cool theme is: SIMPLES.... we want you to create a card that doesn't have very much embellishment or fancy bits on it:-)

For my card I have used a new Digi released this month called Moon Glow which is created by Hannah Lynn, Moon Glow is really a gorgeous image, and I think my favourite part of colouring this one was her hair.  I am really impressed with how I got it to look so awesome!! (*pat's myself on the back!!*)

So because the theme is simples, I did keep it really simple.  There is no patterned paper, just a stamped background. a little bit of blue card, which I think is really striking against the white, a blue flower, button and some string.  Oh and there is also a little half pearl that is in the flower in her hair.  So here she is I hope you love her as much as me:-)

I'm really looking forward to venturing around some new blog's from your entries to Craft's and Me Challenges, I'm sure I'm going to find a tonne of inspiration from you guys, also if you happened to have not seen what the rest of the Digi girls have created then jump on over the the challenge blog and check it out:-)

And also have you seen the new Postage rates at Crafts and Me - check them out here, Teresa has changed the postage for Europe and International parcels check it out HERE

Till next time :-)

A Christmas Ornament for Crafts and Me

Hi Hi Everyone...

Well I have some news... I am now a fully fledged Design Team Member of Crafts and Me!!! WHOOHOOOOO very cool:-)

This is my first time, posting with this Design Team, and you may be aware that there was a bunch of newbie Digi stamps that was released last week.... anyway I have used one by Sara Burrier, called The Blessing, which of course you can get your mitts on HERE.  I've also added on  the cool circle from the Christmas Embellishments Set which is available HERE....

I was able to merge the two together on Photoshop which I must say I think I'm pretty clever in doing as my Computer skills????  I don't really have any!!! ... anyway once I got it printed I started colouring, and then the idea struck on how to display these gorgeous images....

It's a 6 x 6 Chippy shadow box that is by Twiddlybits!!  I picked it up at the paper craft show about a month ago that I went to in Melbourne.

I've painted it white and then once it had dried, I got out the Tim Holtz Picket Fence Crackle Paint and gave it a good going over with that... it looks really cool in real life... sorry if the pic's don't pick up all the details.  I've also added a few glittered up Magnolia and Marianne Designs die cuts and some flowers, a bit of seam binding in the corner with a Pearl Bling Buckle on top (I'm loving these buckles at the moment) although you can't really see it that well... My snow on the image has been created with some Ranger Liquid Pearls... awww so pretty!!

Anyway there is a new challenge happening at Crafts and Me and the theme is: Birthday's so please make sure you add your creation!!!!

So there you go, I hope you love my little shadow box, I think it's going to look so lovely up on the wall or on a shelf in a couple of weeks when I dig out the rest of the Christmas Decorations... Gosh... it's getting close now isn't it!!!!

Here are some challenges I would love to enter:

Digital Tuesday - Anything Goes
