Merry Christmas!!!!

Well not quite, but it will be SOON!!!

This week we are having another go at the Merry Christmas theme at Tilda's Town - yep with all the gorgeous brand new Magnolia's out and about - how can we resist?

And if you haven't got your hands on the new Story Christmas stamps - wait for it - there is now the Naivety  ones just released from Sweden OMGOSH.....  I know I know.... talk about credit card pressure huh?

Anyway I didn't actually receive my new Christmas Story Stamps until Yesterday :-( so I had to use an old stamp from last year.... well actually it was still new and un-inked!  (but we won't tell anyone that now will we LOL)

So I have used Cross Stitch Tilda, and the present for her to sit on, I've gone with traditional colours, red and green and tried to make it a little antique looking with a touch of the distress inks!!  So here you go, hope you love her!!

So make sure you get your entry's in, and if you haven't already heard there is a Design Team Call happening too!!  Being on Tilda's Town is great - such a friendly team.  So who knows you just might get picked to join.  For me however, I won't be re-applying but I am sure SOMEONE will be so excited to have my spot!!

Stamps: Magnolia - Cross Stitch Tilda, Post
Dies: magnolia Doo Hickey's
Paper: Kaiser Craft
Embellishments: Bells, Paint, Flowers, Lace, String, Sewing Machine Paper Doily, Puffy Paint,
Colour: Copic

Butterflies & Bee's

Hi there

It's time for a new Paper Play challenge, and this week's gorgeous theme is Butterflies and Bee's... or I guess things with wings? LOL

For my card I have dug out an oldie Maggie - way back from the Chasing Butterflies collection, she is one of the very first magnolia Stamps I bought, so I thought it would be good to ink her up again:-)  So here she is!!

I have tried to so some feathering colouring but it didn't really work so great, but oh well... she still looks pretty good to me:-) Actually I was surprised at how my card turned out, I was again, so unsure about it, and it almost ended up in the bin:-(

I seem to have lost my motivation to get my cards done, it seems like they are taking FOREVER and ending up looking rather crap... or not how they were meant to be.  *Sigh* I guess we all get like that at time don't we.  I don't know how to pull my self up out of my "hole" right now, but I do know it wont be long and i will be back crafting away like there's no tomorrow!!

So thanks for looking and taking the time to read....

Stamp: Magnolia - Chasing Butterflies Tilda as Butterfly
Paper: Prima
Embellishments: Paper Doily, Lace, Charm, Flower, Metal Corners, Perfect Pearls Mist, Liquid Pearls, Gelly Roll Pen, Collections Element words, Tim Holtz Papillon Stamp set, Paint
Colour: Copic

My card is also gone for the clean and simple look.... CAS is really starting to grow on me LOL:-)

Teya is available in the store right now, along with a bunch of other gorgeous images:-) Don't forget to check out the wonderful new storage solutions that are now available.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #169

Hi There

This week at Magnolia Down Under, we are all being inspired by a Song... Yep pick a song and match it up with your creation this week! and you can always sing away as well if you want to LOL

The song I picked is - Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul and Mary.  So I have used Lilyrose the Dragon, and the cute Castle from the Princes and Princesses Collection!!  So here she is, hope you love her!!

She kinda turned out a little brighter than I had hoped and also not really defined as much as I would like it either, but the thought was definitely there!! LOL She has turned out looking pretty cute - so I guess I am happy with it:-)  I think she looks so cute with the little dragon magnolia paper too!!!

So we look forward to seeing what song you choose this week, and I can't wait to see your creations!!

Thanks for looking

La La Land Crafts Mini Release...

Hi There Everyone!!

La La Land Crafts is having a mini release in case you didn't know.... Irina and Eric have 4 more gorgeous images for you to play with, you can scroll down below and see the flyer on them!! and I have 2 cards to show you today!!!

First up I have used Sandie's awesome sketch, as it is also Inspirational Friday, to create my card with Baby New Year Luka... I have coloured him in Bright Blue and then added some brightly coloured papers from Amy Tangerine I think they look pretty cool together, and just right for a party!!  So here is my Baby New Year Luka, I hope you love him as much as me

My next card is of Angel Marci with Lyre.... I think she is totally gorgeous, and for this card I have gone White on White with lots of Layers, I think it looks so elegant for a Christmas card!!  Anyway I have also added some clouds and rolled roses which I also used La La Land Craft Dies for.

Now I must say, and I'm not just saying this because I am on La La Land Craft Design Team - that the Rolled Rose Dies are the VERY VERY best I have EVER used!!!  The reason being is that La La Land Craft Dies - on the Rolled Roses Die,  has a section that also cuts out and separates the spiral more - making it easier to roll up and I think hold together better.  I do have some other Stamp Company Rolled Rose Dies and I find those ones very tricky to roll up evenally:-) So if you were asking me which rolled rose dies to get... I would definitely point you to La La Land Craft Rolled Roses Dies:-)

Anyway, here is the flyer for the Mini Release... aren't the images gorgeous, and I just love how you can add different things to Baby New Year Luka's Sash, as in the years and Cheers!  Very clever!!
 Luka:
Stamp: Baby New Year Luka
Dies: Wing Set and Water Lily Set
Embellishments: Ric Rac Ribbon, Covered Buttons, Crackle Paint, Green Gem, Embossing Folder

Bell: Y32, Y35, Y38 N4

Marci:
Stamp: Angel Marci with Lyre
Dies: Small and Medium Rolled Roses and Large Rolled Rose, Clouds
Embellishments: Seam Binding, Glitter, Stickles, Pearl Diamonte, Half Pearls
Colour: Copic: Skin: E0000, E00, E11, R20. Hair: E13, E15, E18. Clothes: R02, R05, YR01, YR000, YR20, YR00 Atyou Spica Gold

Thanks so much for looking
