Well for me, I dragged out and unpacked the sewing machine, poor thing, doesn't get much use now with Ruby running around!!! and this is what I made, I hope you love it as much as me:-)

A Lovey Dovey Card

Hey Everyone

Today I have an engagement card to share... yesterday when I took Ruby to her Early Learning School, we met a new Teacher, (remember one left and they asked me to make her a card) well the new teacher, Di, loved it, and asked me to make an engagement card for her friends daughter (I think??) that has recently became engaged!!

So yep, I struck while the iron what hot!! and this is what I made, I hope she will like what I have done for her!!

I have always been a little frightened to use Blue!! Yep I'm crazy, but I have become rather fond of the B45, B41, B0000 and a bit of Blender..... It's just so soft and elegant looking to me!!

I have followed the sketch over at Whiff of Joy this fortnight!! I did follow it, except I did move the tag to the side, that's the only bit!! LOL Speaking of tags, I cut this one with my Cricut - Tie the Knot cartridge - that one has heaps of tags in it!! But I did manage to stuff up the size, on the first on - so that's where the 2 bigger doves are from!! Then I cut a smaller one.... oh dear.... It's going to take a little getting used to it, but at least now I have some instructions so that makes things a bit easier!! (my original one I got off my friend and it didn't have any instructions!!)

It's Paper Play time!!!

I have made something a little different for me - I copied my friend Kylie and made a Label card, using my Spellbinder Nestablilities Die.... This label is only a new one for me... and I kinda really like it!! hehehehe  So here is my card, I hope you love it as much as me!!

Well ok, there are a few design faults - like it doesn't actually stand up!!  I guess I should add like a back bit - like what's on the back of a picture frame???  and I kinda wish I could see a little bit of the choc card I used, So I wish there was a label in between the 2 I used so that I could do that... well I guess I still could do it, but I thought chopping it out with normal scissors might not look so good....

Well finally I have Ruby in her cot asleep, in her room, rather than the porta cot in the big lounge where all my crafty goodies are... the Plumbers have gone for the day - YAY - (1 new bathroom almost completed... just missing some floor coverings)

So here is my card that I started for last week's challenge at Whiff of Joy.... oh boy.... I was just a bit late with that one, so seen so I had only coloured my girlie I thought I would pop her in for this week's challenge!! 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon... Check, Check and Check!!

Sorry my picture is not so fantastic... but for some reason I just couldn't get the colours to show up like they are in real life... drat....

Whiff of Joy 100th Challenge!!!! Oh and a Wedding Card!!

Huge Congratulations Whiff of Joy on your 100th Challenge - that is so awesome!!  I have been and hopped along on the fantastic hop that you girlies have put together and WOW - so awesome!!

So today I have made a - well I think - very elegant Wedding Card, for a very elegant couple who are getting married on the weekend!!!  Its soooooo Romantic!! hehehe

For my card I have used the cute Ben and Nora from the New Year collection, I think they look so cute, as a wedding bride and groom - so I have tried to colour Nora in ivory and Ben in a soft grey so I used my E41, E40 and E0000 and most of the W Copics.... I hope you love this special wedding card as much as me!!

My flower is white, but I think taking my photo in the late afternoon Autumn sun has given it a bit of a warm glow about it....  heheheheh soon I wont be able to go outside to take pic's it will be too wet and cold... :-( how sad

Hi Everyone,

Well the weather is terrible, as in floods -  today we had some floods in different parts of Tasmania - still not like in Queensland - but enough to cause some significant damage to roads, and to peoples homes... There are floods not just here and in Queensland - 5 states have floods now... so Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.... We must have done something bad to really crap off Mother Nature?? I mean why else is this happening??

Well its raining so much... but not as much as what is happening in Queensland, I'm a very long way away from that here in Tasmania - but it still breaks my heart watching it on the news and trying to imagine what I would feel like if that was my House floating down the river.... but those are just things aren't they??  Your Life is much more important...

WOW I can't tell you how happy I was to finally have in my hands my long awaited Guest Design Team Stamps from Whiff of Joy!! They arrived on Christmas Eve, Eve!! WHOOHOOOOOO So now that I have them all mounted and ready to go, I couldn't wait to use Ben and Nora!! I love this cute pair:-) So I have made an Engagement Celebration Card!!

I think I'm going great this year - done all my shopping, got it wrapped - now it just preparing for the Christmas Lunch BBQ that we are having this year, at our house with about 20 family members!! eeck!!
