The First Noel, the Angels did say
was to certain poor shepherds in the fields where they lay
In the fields where they lay are keeping their sheep
on a cold winters night that was so deep
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel....
Born is the King of Israel
So we all know this Christmas Carol right? well actually it's one of my favourites, along with Silent Night.... but anyway... I'm here to tell you about the newest Challenge over at Magnolia Down Under - it's make a Christmas Ornament. So basically no cards!!! EECK
So for my Ornament, I used the word NOEL. I bought the letters at my local scrap shop along with some Dusty Attic snowflakes, matching ribbons and flowers.
I've used 4 sweet Christmas Dreams Maggies and well here you go, I hope you love it as much as what I do....
I'm so pleased actually with how it turned out in the end, after a couple of little mishaps - like painting the wrong side of the letter N. There is just no way it was going to work!!! No matter how many times I flipped and turned it. LOL.. Here is a closer look, the N has Edwin on Christmas Eve. Isn't he so Cute?
Next of course is the O. I thought Halo Tilda would look awesome on this one, so I have used here. I'm really pleased with how her dress turned out with the sort of pleats/folds happening. and I used my new favourite green combination too!!
Next is E. E has beautiful Tilda with the long flowing hair - Tilda with a Gift. Doesn't she look cute, sitting on the bar of the E. Her wings have heaps and heaps of Stickles on them too. Sorry my Picture doesn't do them justice...
On the L I have used Snow heart Tilda. I think she is my favourite (this week anyway) from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection. I love the snowflakes I picked up from Dusty Attic they are really awesome. I dabbed them all with my Snow Cap Paint Dabber from Ranger.
Well that's it!!! Heaps of Pic's to show you today, I hope you have enjoyed my Ornament, and we all of course at the Design Team look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations. Have you seen all what the Design Team have made? I know there is heaps of inspirational gorgeousness for you to lay your eyes on!!
