Tic Tac Toe Inspirational Friday

Hi Everyone

Well it's time for another Inspirational Friday at La La Land Crafts, and this week as you know we have a super cool Tic Tac Toe game board for you to play with.  All you have to do is pick three items in a row and use those things to make your card... you can scroll down to see the game board... 

This is actually my last La La Land Crafts Design Team Card... 

I have decided to step away for a while, hopefully I will be back at a later stage, but right now I really need a break, and this will allow me to concentrate on my precious Ruby, and her development and learning, which is something that she has trouble with.

 I really have enjoyed playing with Marci and Luka for well over a year, I love the fact that my cards have been at the biggest craft show in the world, for everyone to see!! I love that I have made and met wonderful life-long, friends in Irina and Eric and a couple of fellow teamies - Sue and Alyce and of course Debbie P, who I have now know for ages! Thanks so much for having me!!

Now for my card I have used Rose Faerie Marci.  I have coloured her with my copics and used some yummy prima papers to make my card.  The sparkles around the back of Marci is Frantage.... in Scarlet and Pink - Frantage is so cool, have to get some if you don't have it already..... So here is my card, I hope you love it as much as me.

Here is the game board.... I picked: Pink, Dies and Doily.... plus I have added a couple of others in there as well.... the Banner, Pearls and Flowers!! Almost a full house!

Inspirational Friday, Circles !!!

Hi Everyone!!

Its time for another inspirational Friday at La La Land Crafts, this week I am hosting which is why I have a card this week... normally its my off week....

Anyway, the theme this week is Circles everywhere. I have used cute Marci with Umbrella on my very smiple card... I have just used a white card base, and a bunch of scraps which I chopped little circles out of and stuck them on the card with some pretty ribbon and my image.  I hope you love it as much as me:-)

So there you go... pretty simple but I think effective:-)

Inspirational Friday at La La Land Crafts!!

Hi Everyone!!

Its time for another Inspirational Friday at La La Land Crafts... This week we have a gorgeous Inspirational Picture for you... you can scroll down below to see, anyway as we know we pick things that catches our eye from the picture and then we use them to make our card.  So me it was the Pink and Blue and Black.  I also was keen on the dots and the doily.  So that is what I have taken from the picture.

For my Card I have used Irish Marci.  I have placed a flower over the 4 leaf clover which I cut out using my La La Land Crafts Die... the die is called Lotus I have also used the String of Hearts Border die on this one as well. So here is my card i hope you love it:-)

In case you are wondering, my papers are from Bo Bunny, and my cute little word stickers are from Tim Holtz... (Of Course)

Getting Sketchy with Sandra's Sketch

Hey Everyone!!

There is a brand new sketch for you to play along with at Sketchy Challenges.  This one has been designed by Sandra... and its gorgeous!!

So I have followed the sketch, moved a couple of bits around and added in some other embellishments!!  I also finally got to have a play with some Frantage Embossing powders.... SO MUCH FUN... but gosh I wish my heat gun had 2 settings... it only has one which is full boar.... so just about everything is now Frantaged in my craft room.... ooops a daisy!

 
So um yeah... Frantage is fun, which is why I guess I used a tonne of it!! heheheh it was my first time, which is what my excuse is for having a truck load on one side of my image and hardly any on the other.... I also frantaged my TH butterfly boarder and then added the Pippi butterfly from Memory box on top... 

My Sentiment is from LOTV.... heres a closer look at my Frantage and I guess my colouring!

Its Sketchy Time at Magnolia Down Under

Good Morning

This week at Magnolia Down Under we have a sketch for you to follow.  It has been designed by Kylie the Sketch Mistress...hehehehe

For my card I picked Long stocking Tilda.... One of my favourite Once Upon a Time - Stories.... I remember having it read to me as a kid.... I loved it.  

I've used some Prima papers, a Spellbinder butterfly die, along with some Magnolia doo hickey's.... The boarder around my circle is a Marianne D.... gosh there is so much stuff on this card! - Here it is, I hope you love it as much as me:-)

And here is Kylie's awesome sketch.  We sure do look forward to seeing your wonderful creations:-)

Buttons or Bows and My Sketch Marker Holder

Hi Everyone!!

It's time for another awesome theme in Inspirational Friday, at La La Land Crafts!! The theme this week is Buttons or Bows.... I picked Bows:-)

For my card I have coloured up Wheelbarrow Marci, and I have also used one of the brand spankin' new dies - the Flag Banner.... So here is my card, I hope you love it as much as me:-)

I have also popped on the scrummy Stitched boarder die and the cool Bird cage!!  I do love my La La Land Dies!!  

Also I wanted to share my Copic Sketch Marker Stand, which has been designed by Eric and Irina from La La Land Crafts... I must say, these are gorgeous stands, and so so easy to build!  Irina has made a YouTube video - here is the link - if you want some help.  These are available in many online stores within Australia, so make sure you get some for you.  I have 3 which I have built - (2 aren't painted yet!) but 3 will hold all of the markers - and if you have a combination of Ciaos and Sketch markers like me... the sketch holder will hold both.  Or if you only have ciaos, then there is a holder just for them!!!

To decorate my holder, I just painted it white.  I did keep the decorations plain, as I really like how they look, just as they are:-)

But now that I have all three built, I have them standing on their ends so that they fit in the space I have:-)
