Plain Old Biscuit Tin gets a Magnolia Makeover!!

Well today started off lovely - sun was shining, and was reasonably warm... BUT then of course the clouds came and then the wind and then the RAIN... OMGOSH so over the rain... Anyway this afternoon I have finished my little recycling project that I wanted to do for the new TOMIC challenge:-)

I've had this biscuit tin for a couple of years now (actually I have 3) I don't remember where I got it from?? So I decided to turn this:

Into this:

Hehe sorry about the wonky biscuit tin picture... I didn't realise it was like that!! Anyway what do you think? I love it, I'm so pleased with how it turned out:-) It's new life is now as a place to pop flowers that I'm currently using into it.  You know how you get like 25 or 50 in a packet from Wild Orchid Crafts... well I can now pop those little bunches of 5 into this as I'm using them!!!  The next picture is of the lid:-) I wanted to keep it plainish, so I only popped on some flowers, a tassel and a Prima Trinket onto the handle:-)

Here is a better look at the front of the old biscuit tin, I received my new Sweet Rainbow Doo Hickey's in the mail today (YAY) so I used the cute little round doily!! Also I've used a couple of others but I've had those ones for ages!!!

So thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look:-)

I'm only entering my tin into the TOMIC challenge #11 Recycling
