Crikey!!! Tilda's got a bunch of flamin' Galah's....
Hahahahahah couldn't resist a bt of Aussie slang for my Magnolia Down Under Challenge card this week!! The theme is Texture... we wanna see some different and interesting things whacked on your cards/creations. For my texture I have used some Hesian or some people might called it burlap?? anyway the peice I had was old and a creamy yellow colour so I chopped a bit off and chucked it in a bucket with some Parisan Essence - you know the stuff that you make gravey with? anyway it stains the fabric... So here is my very Australian themed Textured card, I hope you love it as much as me:-)
So what a Galah?? It's an Australian Native Bird, and actually one of my favourites. They are a little bit like a parrot and come from the Cockatoo family. Galah's are a gorgeous Grey and Pink in colour. So for my Galah's I have used the cute little Tilda's Birds and coloured them so that they look a little like Galah's!! In the next picture I've given you a little bit of a close up and I've actually managed to capture some sparkles this week:-) heheheheh Yay for me:-)
I'm really looking forward to seeing what textures you girls and guys bring to your creations this week:-) It's just awesome begining able to see so much creativeness each and very week:-) I love being part of the Magnolia Down Under Family!! Also you certainly don't wanna miss out on seeing what the rest of the gorgeous Design Team ladies have made for you so go on head on over to the blog....
