Natsumi Baby!!

Hi There Crafts and Me Fans....

It's Karen here, and this week I wanna showcase to you, Natsumi!! She is brand new at Crafts and Me and of course she is designed by Hannah Lynn.... just in case you didn't know!!

I've coloured her up with my copic's and to continue on with the Oriental feel of the image, I used some Oriental looking papers, and a Dragon Charm.  I also used a Memory Box die, which there is tonnes in store for you to choose from!!

Anyway I hope you all having a great time, whether it be snowing or sunny.... depending on which part of the world you live in....

Hi Everyone

So sorry I'm late with my Magnolia Down Under creation this week... its been one of those weeks...

Anyway Magnolia Down Under's theme is Wings..... so let your mind wander and see what you come up with, we are all super excited to see what you all create!

I've used a newbie from the new With Love collection.... so I hope you love my card as much as I do:-)

La La Land Craft in Stitches!

Hi There!!

I hope your all having a good week! Tomorrow is Australia Day... so that means for us a heap of fun, we are heading to a friends house for a big BBQ, so it will be full on, with all our little kids running around, and hopefully having a great time running under the sprinkler... that's if it's hot.... but either way, the kids will probably be running under the sprinker!!

Today is inspirational Friday again at La La Land, and this weeks theme is Stitches, as you may have already seen from the Monday Gals.... for my card I have used Colouring Marci.... she reminds me of my little girl Ruby, colouring away - or in Ruby's case scribble but we all have to start somewhere right?  So here is my card, I hope you like it!!

Pretty cute isn't she? can you spot the new dies I have used? Well if not, I guess I better tell you which ones they are.... there is the Gorgeous Heart Banner, the Berry Flourish and the Scallop Boarder Die.... all of these dies are available if not sold out already, in the La La Land Craft shop, or if your in Australia, you will need to get them at your local scrap shop or online store.... there is lots that are selling the gorgeous stamps and dies now:-)

My Sketch at Sketchy Challenges!!

Hi Everyone

This fortnight at Sketchy Challenges I have designed the sketch for you all to play along with, I hope you will enjoy it, and will come along and play.  Our fabulous Sponsor is The Crafty Witch!!! Sandra is giving away 2 stamps... so cool... 

For my card, I have used one of the With Love Tilda's.... Tilda with Love Cake! I just love how cute she is, and of course so versatile for other occasions like Birthday's - not just valentines!!  So here she is I hope you love her as much as me:-)

Cute!!!  Do you like my tag? I made it with a wooden stamp, which i stamped onto Kraft card, cut it out, and then distressed the edges with some Walnut Stain.  The Sentiment is a LOVT stamp which I stamped with some Oil Based Black Ink so that it would stand out more!!

Here is my sketch, all you need to do is follow the sketch below, you can flip it, or put it upside down if you want to, but the elements of the sketch must be clearly seen in your creations!!  TOO EASY!!

Spring to Life

Hi Everyone!!

It's my turn again to showcase something on the Crafts and Me Shop blog.... and today I wanna tell you all about a Hannah Lynn Image called: Spring to Life... 

She is available right now, as she has been in the shop for a while.... you can get her here.... I have coloured her with my copic's and to make my card I have used up some of my scrap bits of paper, that I seem to have tonnes of.... like you do save it for a reason don't you? So I guess I should actually use it!!!

Anyway here is my card, I hope you like it as much as me:-)

Magnolia Down Under is back!!

Hi Everyone!!

Well after a long deserved break, we are back at Magnolia Down Under with a bunch of wonderful Challenge themes for you this year....

First up this weeks theme is a simple one, its Flowers!! We wanna see your flowers so get crackin' and link up your creations!!

For my card I have used some of my newbies, Tilda with the Dot Bow, the Flower Cloud and the Chocolate signs.... I also dragged out a corner from the Your so Special Collection..... Anyway here is my card I hope you like!!!

La La Land Crafts Winter CHA Release!

Hi and Welcome to another AWESOME La La Land Crafts Release... this is the big one... YEP Winter CHA WhoooooooHoooooooooooooo

Oh Boy, we have had to hold on to our hats the past few weeks, getting our work created and sent to Irina... which was a tricky feat considering the Christmas Post... but thankfully my 4 projects made it just in time for CHA 

So first up, I want to introduce to you, Artist Marci... she is so cute (as always) but I love how we can add our little something to her Canvas or her coat... So here she is, I hope you love her as much as me...

Now this is actually a Canvas... silly me didn't get a side shot on it to show, but it's a 6x6 Canvas.  I went a little made with the new dies and of course added some of the older ones too.... can you pick them all??

Next up I have Picture Perfect Marci, she is just way to cute for words... or how about a picture tells a 1000 words... well that pretty much sums this Marci up.... check her out:

I went for Bright and Funky colours on this one, and Marci's frame is actually Paper Tole or layered to give it a little more dimension!!  You can also pick out a couple of the new dies on this one too..... mmmmm can you see them all?? 

I love the new dies, and I know you will too, but for us Australians we need to purchase ours from our local scrap shop... or if yours doesn't have La La Land stuff... well I would be stampin' my foot down if I was you..... my local does, so she is safe from a little foot stompin!!! LOL But getting side tracked, they are all available soon to purchase from La La Land Crafts.....

So here is all the newbie Images.... Aren't they fantastic!!

Getting Sketchy and Magnolia Down Under Challenges

Hi there everyone

So it has been a busy busy start to the year for me. We finally have a contract on our old house, so hopefully that will sell.... and my big brother got engaged!! WHOOOHOOOO

But in amongst that, I have managed to make a little card for today's challenge, at Sketchy.... I've used Tilda and here she is:

I also wanted to remind everyone about the Anything Goes Theme at Magnolia Down Under... I was pretty slack and didn't actually make a card when the theme went up, and again still lazy that I decided to combine this card with the 2 challenges!! LOL

So I hope that you will come along and play at either challenge... maybe use the sketch above designed by super talented Sandra, and then join anything goes, at MDUC and Sketchy Challenges at the same time!!

Art Deco Esther

Happy New Year Everyone!!

Today the shop is back in business at Crafts and Me, along with all the Design Team Girlies!! I want to show you a card that I made using a December image, Art Deco Esther!!

I have coloured her with my copic's in a rich green, to make her a little more traditonal and 1930's feel :-) I have also used my Graphic 45 papers, Ladies Diary, which I think is pretty much perfect for her, so here she is, I hope you love her as much as me:-)

So what do you think? pretty ? I think so:-)  I have again kept the card nice and simple and somewhat small, so that the main part of the card is the actual image:-)

There is a brand new challenge starting today, so I hope you will come along and play...
