Whiff of Joy's Ben and Nora

WOW I can't tell you how happy I was to finally have in my hands my long awaited Guest Design Team Stamps from Whiff of Joy!! They arrived on Christmas Eve, Eve!! WHOOHOOOOOO So now that I have them all mounted and ready to go, I couldn't wait to use Ben and Nora!! I love this cute pair:-) So I have made an Engagement Celebration Card!!

Ben and Nora are from the December Release at Whiff of Joy - why not head on over there and throw them in your trolley!!  I've also used a stamp from the Cheers to You, they are so awesome - you get 9 different stamps and all you have to do is trim, stick on your clear block and then ink!!  So cool!! Oh and they come in a CD Case - perfect really!! and did you see the French Lilies Boarder Die I've used?? - OMGOSH how gorgeous is that??  Its from Whiff of Joy too, in case you wondered!!

Hi Everyone,

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #77

Well not long now and it will be Christmas!!  Are you ready, done all your shopping?  Well I have - so YAY for me!!

This week, at Magnolia Down Under we have a cool Challenge for you its:

CHRISTMAS PRESENT - not a card

I decided to make a little Christmas Chochie Holder!! I used my cricut to cut out the box which for some reason didn't actually have a handle?? so I fashioned one up and attached it to the sides.  I guess I could make one for easter too?? hahahah  Here it is hope you love it!!

This is a pic, so you can see what the sides look like, they are both the same!!

This is the back, I cut a scroll using my Cricut and then wrote on it, my baby's name, Ruby, and then her friends and cousins!!

Whiff Of Joy Christmas Blog Hop

Merry Christmas!! Not long now till the big guy in the red suit comes to visit!!! - hope you've cleaned your Chimney's (if you have one!!) I think I'm going great this year - done all my shopping, got it wrapped - now it just preparing for the Christmas Lunch BBQ that we are having this year, at our house with about 20 family members!! eeck!!

Now my Christmas Blog Hop creation!! For this, I combined two things that I have never made before - and honestly it was because I was FAR tooo chicken!!!... but it turns out that it really wasn't that hard after all.... here it is, I hope you LOVE it as much as me - because, I do love it heaps!!  Oh, and in case your wondering its a Shaker Tea Light Holder Box.... thingy-ma-jiggy!! 

and here is a close up of the shaker bits, tiny beads and a couple of Charms!!

This is what the inside looks like, I'm planning on putting a Whiff Of Joy Christmas Sentiment Stamp there, and cutting it out with the matching die,  but unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances........ I'm still waiting on the post man to deliver it!! so for now it looks like this!!

Henry is playing at Whiff of Joy Challenges

Well how is everyone?? Freezing no doubt in Europe, and here well we are getting washed away with floods!!  But not in my little State of Tasmania - lucky - but today is pretty horrid!!  Just the other day we had the air conditioning on - because it was so sticky and hot and today - well I'm kinda thinking I might even pop the heater on... brrrrrr.... its cold and rainy:-(

But enough about that, today I have a little Christmas Card to show you!!  I used a cute little image from Whiff of Joy - it's called Henry and Ornament 2009. He is so cute, and so fantastic to colour, I had a great time!!

So I'm entering my little Henry into the current Whiff of Joy Challenge which is to make a Christmas card using non-traditional colours - so in other words no red or green!!  I think I did pretty well with my purple and silver!!
Here it is, the picture is not great, sorry but as I said before, its pretty horrid here today!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #75

Hello Magnolia fans!!  Today is Sunday so you know what that means - hahahaha another brand new Challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this weeks theme is:

Oooooo I love this this challenge!! I have dabbled in a bit of Quilting so it was fun pulling out a few of my Quilting Block Books and picking out a quilting block to make the background of my card!!  I've used a Sawtooth Star or an Evening Star - which ever you like to call it!! hahaha So like my quilting with fabric my paper patchwork pieces don't quite match up grrrrr - but don't look so close and you'll never know!! Here is my card, I hope you love it, as much as me!!

Note to self: make sure you stick your image on first before gluing flowers, that way your image will be in the center and not squ-whiff like this one..... oops

And here is another one I made, with the other bits of paper that I had!!! hahahaha its the opposite colour way!!

Whiff of Joy - Joy Fold!!

Good Afternoon!!  Well you may not know that I was chosen to be on the Whiff of Joy Design Team for the next 2 months as a Guest!! WHOOHOO Lucky me!! I'm so excited, I think I might bust!! Thank you Katharina for giving me this wonderful opportunity!!

Anyway so I thought I would make a little card today, its a Joy Fold!!  I really like this type of fold for a card, it makes it a little bit more special!! Anyway here it is, I hope you love it as much as me, because well I love it heaps!! LOL

Hey Everyone, today I have been busy making card for the Brand new Challenge Magnolia-licious Challenges - the first one is a colour theme: PINK and Yellow.... how sweet. 

So with these colours I made a baby card... I did need one, so that was good... but again I still wish I got the New Baby Sentiment stamp that came out with the cozy collection.... that's twice now that I could have used it!! LOL
