It's Paper Play time!!!

Today we have another brand spankin' new challenge for you to Paper Play along with!!  This week we are being sponsored by Katharina from Whiff of Joy!!  Oh how cool is that??

I have made something a little different for me - I copied my friend Kylie and made a Label card, using my Spellbinder Nestablilities Die.... This label is only a new one for me... and I kinda really like it!! hehehehe  So here is my card, I hope you love it as much as me!!

Well ok, there are a few design faults - like it doesn't actually stand up!!  I guess I should add like a back bit - like what's on the back of a picture frame???  and I kinda wish I could see a little bit of the choc card I used, So I wish there was a label in between the 2 I used so that I could do that... well I guess I still could do it, but I thought chopping it out with normal scissors might not look so good....

Another Cute TeddyBo

Yesterday, when Ruby and I where at her "school" I took a bunch of my cards in to show the teachers what I do... anyway they loved them *blush* and asked me to make a teddy card for a lady who is leaving next week... they didn't want it to have any sentiment on it, so I guess that made it a little bit more easy to make!

Here it is, I hope they will be pleased with what I have made for them!

So as you can see it's not that much different from the last Teddybo card in my previous post... ahhhahhh but they did want it to be similar colours/style... anyway to make it a little more different I have done a little bit of paper tole... (only because I totally mucked up and it was either that or start again....) so I think it worked out alright!!  Below is another pic so you can see the layer, in Teddybo's leg, hat, fuzzy ear and the flower!

I have also put some sparkles on, but because I've take my pic inside, it doesn't really show so well :-( The sun might be shining out side but Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold out there!!

So I think I will enter this one into the current challenge at TeddyBo which is TeddyBo only!! Party Time Tuesday has an Animal Theme and Stamptacular has a Bear theme, Fab n Funky have cute and cuddly!!

Another Krafty Kreation....

Good Evening!!

Well today I have had another "go" at colouring on Kraft, this time I have used mostly my copic's and then only used my Prismacolour pencils to make a shadow around my Tilda... I pretty much copied the idea from my good buddy Kylie, (she is way to inspirational!!) because, just using Prismacolour Pencils, that's a little tricky for me, I think I like the combo of copic and prisma's!!  Only because I'm so shocking at just Prisma's hahahah 

Anyway here is my krafty kreation, I've also done a bit of copy cat with my tag and charm, I love how Camilla does her's... I have also coloured Tilda's wings but that might not show up - but IRL they are super sparkly!!

So I have challenged myself a couple of times today - Colouring on Kraft with Copic's - that's a first and also making a purple card, I just don't make them very often!! I even got to use some new V Copic's hahah V95, V93, V91!!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #96

These are a few of my favourite things..... as the song goes...  hahah this week, at Magnolia Down Under we want you to use:

Your Favourite Things....

I loved the sound of this challenge so I decided to play along too, so for my favourite things, I have used a bunch!! hahah My favourite type of card fold, flowers, papers and dies... oh and my Magnolia Stamp is a favourite too, but then they all are!!  So here is my card, I really love it, so I hope you do too!!

Ok, so I've made a gate fold!!  I do love this fold, even though I don't use it that often... I've also used my favourite, Graphic 45 Papers - Springtime, I've used Doo Hickey's and Martha Stewart Punches, Whimsy Postal Stamp and Die, Prima Lace, Atyou Spica Pen and a heap of Stickles!! so this is the card unfolded....

Here is a better look at the center panel - I used the wee mini Tilda from the Fairytale collection... isn't she so cute??

Here is the Whimsy Postal Stamp Greeting and then I chopped it out using the matching Post Die... it goes so well with my papers don't you think?

This one has the Tag which I stamped with the Especially for you and again with mini Tilda.... I've popped on some pink seam binding and secured with some Whiff of Joy Button Twine - another of my favourite things!!

On this one you can see Bubbling Tilda's Sparkly bits!!  I think I did well to get a picture of this!! heheheh and you can see also where I have popped on some glossy accents to the bubbles!! It looks really awesome in real life!

I popped my postage stamp a little sideways and on the fold so when you open the card it looks like this!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Well guess what?? Our bathroom's renovation is now completed - as at Yesterday!! WHOOHOOO thank goodness - now I can get back into normal day to day business..

So I've been checking out a few blogs and I'm seeing some pretty cool stuff done with just plain ole Kraft!!  So I pulled out my newly acquired Primsacolour Pencils and had some fun... now ok, its not that fantastic, but I'm just a learner with the pencils!!

Not a Card....

Well Hello Birdy!!

Hahahaha I've made a birdy pillow for Lil Miss Ruby!! She does like it actually and has been giving it a few of those cuddles, you know the kind - like they are cuddling a baby!! SO CUTE

So here it is, I'm pretty pleased - I mean it was a super quick, only took a couple of hours to make and I love the ice-cream colour fabrics with the dark ivory?? is that what you would call it? I dunno - anyway - Meet Birdy!!

Oh and just so you know, I've just coloured an image on Kraft with my Prisma Colour Pencils... I must say it don't look tooooo bad.... hopefully it will be on a card and on here super soon!!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #95

It's time for a new challenge at Magnolia Down Under!!  WHOOHOOO so this week we want you to get a little krafty - yeah we want you to use some kraft or brown paper bag colour card stock somewhere on your card!!

So with my Krafty Kard, I've cut out a label using my cricut (which I was going to use for something else - but like always the usally get used for something different!!) and I've also cut a tag using the Magnolia Doo Hickey Tag die out of Kraft card too.

So my tag has been stamped with the Butterfly Dreams small butterfly - which I then embossed white, because all my "white" ink is so crappy!!  I then pulled out a couple of Prisma's and coloured the image slightly - Don't you love images coloured with Prisma's on Kraft??  I haven't done a full image, yet so that might be my next project... 

Anyway here is my card, and yeah - hehehe - I hope you love it as much as me!!

Also, this week my rolled rose die came in the mail - so here it is in amongst the other flowers... I love the effect that it gives... not so rough and ruggered like some of the other rolled flowers I have made in the past!! heheheheh Now I want the medium and small ones... (Of course!!)
