Well the past couple of days I've been making this card, it hasn't been that I've been slow - just a bit on the sick side.... so anyway I thought I would show you my creation. I'm not too sure about my colouring of this luscious Lylah Lil Lolita but that happens doesn't it!! Its her hair really, it was just a tad on the bright side, but its orange so you would expect that!! Anyway since I didn't like it much, I smothered it with some Transparent Smooch called Illuminate - Smooch is fun have you seen it?? Comes in a little bottle that looks awfully like nail polish - super cute and sparkly:-)
I also loved Kylie Brown's tut on ribbon scrunching (here) that I really wanted to try it. I'm pleased with how the final card turned out..... still not too sure about my colouring - maybe I just need have another go at Lylah, it usually takes a few tries before I figure what works best!! I think the parcel should have been pink instead of purple.... oh well!!
I actually coloured Lylah up last week when my friend Mel came to play for the day hehehehe.... Mel wanted me to show her how I coloured with Distress Inks because she hadn't seen them used before, and I think she may have gotten a little be hooked on them!! as well as the Lil Lolita's:-)
So here is my kinda funky card. Her eyes are meant to be green but they turned into something rather evil looking.... hehehehe
This is Melissa colouring away!!! It was heaps of fun - hope we can do it again soon:-)
