A Couple of Christmas Makes

Hi Everyone

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.... not long to the end of the year... eeck cant believe it's 2014 almost, already!!

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of my makes that hadn't made it to my blog.... I did a couple of classes at my local scrap shop, and this is what I made - well the Banner that is hanging... I made the other stuff last year and the year before....

Looks pretty good.... for my next project which I am totally in love with....

I am so happy with my White Christmas Tags.... I think this will be a treasured Christmas Decoration for many years to come:-)

Anything Goes at Magnolia Down Under

Hi There

Well I have managed to escape into my craft room this weekend... it's taken all weekend but I have managed to make a card for Magnolia Down Under's Anything Goes theme....

It's our last challenge of the year, we decided our girls needed some time off to spend with their families and then to rest up from crafting (for us) until next year!  Magnolia Down Under is turning 5 in 2014... WOW can you believe it??

Anyway, about my card... I have used a sweet Tilda hanging her Christmas Stocking, and the cute little piggy from the latest Christmas collection.  I have used Kaiser Craft paper, Gold and White Glitter card and Frantaged the heck out of it!! I so love that stuff!!

Here is a closer look at that Frantage, and my not so great colouring (it has been awhile) anyway I decided to put a little frame around the piggy... its one of those air dry clay thingies from Martha Steward... I have it sitting right up! I used a new to me glue - well basically it's silicon... but you put a blob on and not push down the item your gluing, and then it will sit up nice an high without collapsing! very cool

I think this will be my last blog post this year, but you never know!! Anyway I wanted to wish you all a very Merry and safe Christmas, and I hope all your dreams come true! 

White on White at Magnolia Down Under

Hi Everyone

It's been ages since my last post, I have not been crafting for a while, now that my little girl is keeping me busy - she doesn't have a nap anymore - she is off to Kindergarten next year, so that has been really full on, getting her used to the idea of "School" but the best thing is that we now know who her Aide will be... and the best thing is, she absolutely loves her! So I am pleased that everything is going well!!

This week at Magnolia Down Under it's my choice, which is basically what my favourite thing to do is... which is White on White... mind you I don't do it as well as my teamies but I get a kick out of seeing what they create anyway!  For my White on White, I have used a bunch of dies mostly Spellbinders, but there is a memory box snowflake border happening in there too.  I hope you all love what I created it has been ages since I have been in my craft room, and it was heaps of fun!

Magnolia Down Under Anything Goes

Hi Everyone

It's time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week, we have a super easy theme for you.... it's Anything Goes... so you can do what ever your little heart desires!!

For me, I used my new London Magnolia's that I got from Ashlee at Ash Crafts and Gifts in Launceston, Tasmania.  The Magnolia Stamps are becoming a little hard to find in Australia which is a shame.  Anyway I have used the super cute red phone box and little magnolia - the dog.  I love them....  Oh have you seen the new Christmas ones available??? I bought some at Tilda's Town and omgosh, I am so lucky i ordered when I did because my friend Kylie went to go get some and there was bunch's already sold out!!  So here is my card I hope you like it as much as me:-)

Magnolia Down Under

Hi Everyone!!

It has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog, I guess I have been a bit busy and also I didn't really feel like crafting.  I have left all my Design Teams except for Magnolia Down Under, because I love my Magnolia's so much I couldnt stop using them!! Anyway I have been checking out the newest stamps from Magnolia - the ones from London - and well I just had to have some of them.

For my card this week, I have used London Tilda... I have coloured her with my copics in this weeks theme colours of Blue, Brown and White.  It's Lori's pick this week!  Anyway I hope you can look past my terrible colouring... its been a while, and it definitely shows!!! Well I think so anyway.... so here she is, hope you like!

Oh and if you happen to see this Months Australian Card making, stamping and Papercraft Magazine.... I'm in it!!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge...

Hi Everyone!!

Its been awhile since I last posted on my blog... guess I have been busy with Ruby now that she doesn't have afternoon naps!! 

So not much craft time, these days!!

This week it's Camilla's choice which is hearts!!  We wanna see hearts on your cards/creations.  For my card I have used one of the new Magnolia's from the last collection.  I have coloured her with my copic's and distressed around the edges of my papers with Walnut Stain.  My Papers are Basic Grey. So here is my card I hope you {HEART} it!!!

Sketchy Time

This week at Sketchy our sketch has been designed by Sabine... For my project I decided to do another Scrapbooking page... I think I may be over making cards, after 4 years!!  So I am going back to what I originally started paper crafting with... Photo's!! besides I have heaps pic's of Ruby... so I better do something with them huh?

But I am sure you will still see cards... I still love my Magnolia Stamps!!

Sketchy Sketch

Its time for another sketch at Sketchy Challenges... this fortnight our sketch has been designed by Kirsty-Anne and its chocka's of layers!! 

For my card I have used a Simply Gorjuss stamp which I brought at my local Scrap Super Store!! I have had her for a while so I thought it was time to ink her up.. so here she is, hope you love it as much as me:-)

My papers are from Basic Grey, and I have "Frantaged" the hell out of the image lol.... which is kinda a little to big for the sketch theme but I switched a couple of bits around... to make it work.  Because that is the beautiful thing about sketch's you can do that... just as long as the main idea is there!

My Favourite Things...

Hi Everyone!!

This week at Magnolia Down Under, Camilla H has picked her favourite thing to do... and its to use her Favourite things!! How wonderful is that?

For my card, I have used a few of my recent favourite things... Frantage, (love that stuff) My Gelly Roll Pen in Clear Star (another sparkle) Pearls, and of course Magnolia Stamps.... I love all my Magnolias so they are all my favourites, although some more than others...

Anyway, here is my card I really hope you all love it as much as me:-) 

My Papers are from Papermania, and my Anchor die is from Memory Box.  The Ice-cream that Tilda is sitting on is from an old Magnolia collection, and so are the cute little ants!!  I have also used my favourite Doo Hickey die... which I think is one of the very first ones that came out... the lovely lace boarder...

Anyway that's it.  I hope you will come along and play and show us your favourite things!!

Sketchy Time #52

Hi Everyone

It's time for another new sketch at Sketch Challenges... this fortnight our sketch has been designed by Jane... and I have decided to do a scrap book layout instead of a card...

My Papers are from Websters and so is my green lace.  I used the strips at the bottom of the pages to add some extra - they are under the lace.  I've used Magnolia Doo Hickey's and My Minds Eye Dies and also a My Favourite Things! My Flower is from Prima and so is the cute wooden Owl:-) My Chook wire stamp is from Bo Bunny

So I hope you will come along and play this week, just remember you dont always have to make a card if you dont want to:-)

SURPRISE for Camilla S....

Hi Everyone!!!

Well today at Magnolia Down Under, we have a very special surprise for our much loved teamie... Camilla.  Camilla is expecting her very first baby very very soon.... and because we all love babies, we thought we would hijack the normal theme of Tic Tac Toe, and make it "What are Little Boys made of?" as Camilla and her husband are going to have a boy!! 

For my card I have used the gorgeous new Magnolia Stork, sentiment from a few collections ago and the new huge butterfly doo hickey! I have also used a bunch of other dies... and sprinkled just about everything with Frantage... so here is my card, I hope you love it Camilla!!!

And here is a closer look at my stork which of course is coloured with my copics... you can also see the yummy shabby blue frantage embossing around the edges of my image and also on the tag!

So this weeks theme as I said before is Tic Tac Toe... and I decided to use the game board, but give it a baby boy theme!! I just about used everything except for the 3 patterned papers... otherwise it would have been a full house!!

So we would love for you to come along and play... you can use the above game board, which was our decoy for Camilla, just need to choose 3 items on the board and use them... you may even like to go with a Baby Boy theme.... up to you guys and gals!! But we all look forward to seeing what you come up with:-)

Shabby at Magnolia Down Under

Its a new challenge at Magnolia Down Under this week.... and the theme has been picked by Kathrin.  Kathrin's favourite thing to do is: SHABBY

For my card I have used my Tilda and have her sitting on the cute little mattress.... I have coloured her with my Copics and I have also used my new Orchid Die from Magnolia to create some of the flowers out of Vellum... I then added some liquid pearls... I also sponged the big one with Spun Sugar distress ink to give it a little colour, seen so my vellum is just plain.

Getting Sketchy!!!

I hope your Saturday afternoon has been awesome.... But if not maybe this will help?  It's time for another awesome Sketch at Sketchy Challenges.... this fortnight's sketch has been designed by Hilde...

For my card this week I have used Tvi Tvi Tvi Tilda, from the Little Easter Collection 2013.... I think she is just so cute, sweeping up!! Anyway I made my card into a get well card for a friend of mine who has unfortunately been sick... so hopefully this will help cheer her up!

Here is a closer look at my colouring and also the yummy Frantage I have used around her... I just love that stuff.... I think best invention EVA!! heheheh

And here is the beautiful sketch for you to play with.  I pretty much kept true to it, although I haven't put in as many layers and my sentiment didn't make it to the top..... I actually forgot about that bit HAHAHAH but as you know Sketch's are open to interpretation... just as long as you don't forgot the main feel of the sketch!

So there you go... thats it for me for now...

ANYTHING GOES

So knock your socks off and do what ever you want!  

This week I have decorated a paper bag... I seem to have so many of them, anyway I prettied this one up with my Tilda, some Tim Holtz Tissue Paper, Gesso and a bunch of other stuff... so here it is, I hope you love it as much as me:-)

I also used some Frantage, in shabby blue around my image, on the background shape and my tag... it really does look so purtty.... LOL

So there you go there is my Anything Goes for this week.... we all look forward to seeing what you create:-) 

Getting Sketchy!!

This fortnight at Sketchly Challenges, Kylie has made a brilliant sketch for us to follow.  It has lots and lots of layers so I decided to do a Scrapbook page. These photos where taken a while ago but I never got around to actually scrapping them until now... so here is my page, hope you love it:-)

My Papers are from My Minds Eye, flowers from Prima, a La la Land Craft Butterfly die, Kaiser Craft Bingo chippy a ticket and lace.  I distressed around the edged with some walnut stain ink and I used a heap of foam mounting tape to give my page some thing extra!!

A Scrap Page

So here is something a little different from me... a Scrapbook page! I have a bunch of pics tucked away of Ruby that I have been meaning to use for ages... so finally I had the bug the other day and did a couple of pages.... the other you will see on Saturday for Sketchy Challenges.... anyway here is my precious Ruby who just spotted the cat's black furry tail poking out from the plants in the garden. He was actually trying to hid from her... but forgot about his tail! Silly Cat!!
